Work sized to the problem, not to a package.

Two sides, one practice. The first eight are the consulting work: finding out how a company really runs. The last five are the building work: networks, hardware, software, hosting, and teaching. The same person does both. That is why the fix tends to fit the problem.

One practice, three ways to engage.

Diagnose
Something keeps going wrong and nobody can fix it.
Finds the real cause across the whole system, not just the department it shows up in.
A map of the problem and one change to test.
Build
You need something built, fixed, or set up right.
Designs, builds, and runs it end to end - networks, hardware, software, infrastructure.
A reality check on the job, and a tested plan or a working first piece.

01

Organizational Systems Assessment

A checkup of the whole company as one connected system, instead of a set of departments. This is where most projects start when the leaders know something is wrong but cannot put a finger on it.

  • People
  • Technology
  • Information
  • Workflow
  • Decision-making
  • Ownership
  • Metrics
  • Customer outcomes
02

Organizational Noise Audit

Measures how much people in your company disagree when they judge the same thing. We ask leaders, managers, employees, and customers, so the gaps between what each group believes become easy to see.

  • Decision consistency
  • Information flow
  • Who gets to speak
  • Meetings
  • Teams pulling together
  • Clear process
  • Tool friction
  • Customer experience
03

Process Review Across Departments

Mapping the work that passes between departments, where what is written down and what people really do stopped matching a long time ago.

  • Dropped hand-offs
  • Nobody owns it
  • Who to go to
  • Double work
  • Do-overs
  • Bottlenecks
04

Technology & Operations Consulting

A hands-on review by someone who still builds and runs this stuff, not someone reading a vendor chart.

  • Infrastructure
  • Systems
  • Automation
  • Integrations
  • Technical workflow
  • Tooling
  • Operational design
05

Root-Cause Analysis

For problems that have survived several honest tries to fix them. If it keeps coming back, whatever is being fixed is not the cause.

  • How often it comes back
  • What was tried before
  • What causes what
  • The conditions around it
06

Meeting & Decision Process Review

Meetings are usually a symptom, not the disease. This looks at what really gets decided, whether anyone wrote it down, and whether it then happened.

  • Why the meeting exists
  • How decisions form
  • Who talks
  • Agreeing too fast
  • Follow-through
  • Who owns the next step
07

Workflow & Automation Assessment

Where copy-and-paste, fixing numbers by hand, and unofficial spreadsheets are quietly holding together systems that do not fit how the work is done.

  • What could be automated
  • Systems that do not talk
  • Fixing data by hand
  • Who can see what
08

Independent Problem Review

For leadership teams that agree something is wrong but cannot agree on what. Someone from outside with no stake in whose theory wins.

  • One-on-one interviews
  • Weighing the theories
  • Looking at the evidence
  • Plain-language findings
09

Network Design & Physical Install

I design the network and then I install it, cables and all. When there is no paperwork, I trace the real wiring with a Fluke tester and map what is really there, not what someone thinks is there. The network plan fits the building or the business, not a template.

  • Cabling & terminations
  • Mapping undocumented systems
  • Right-sized IP plans
  • DNS / DHCP / NAT
10

Embedded & Hardware Solutions

When store-bought gear cannot do the job or has quit, I build the controller myself. Usually an ESP32 or a similar board, wired straight into the real-world thing it runs. Door access, entry buzzers, sensors, automation.

  • ESP32 / microcontrollers
  • Access & entry control
  • Sensors & automation
  • Board-level diagnosis
11

Custom Software, Built and Operated

I build the software the store-bought option cannot cover: apps, admin panels, desktop tools, and the databases under them. Then I run it, so it keeps working after hand-off.

  • Apps & admin panels
  • Desktop tools
  • Databases
  • Operated after hand-off
12

Infrastructure & Self-Hosting

I run a private cloud on a mesh network: hosting, an auto-setup tool, single sign-on, and the security work around it. Your systems live on infrastructure you really control. I build infrastructure, so I could sell you a server. That is exactly why it means something when I tell you where you do not need one.

  • Managed private cloud
  • Automated setup
  • Single sign-on
  • Monitoring & backup
13

Technical Training & Literacy

I teach the parts of technology people are quietly expected to already know: using a PC without fear, working with AI tools, and handling email safely. Plain language, no jargon, at the pace of the person in front of me.

  • PC skills
  • AI basics
  • Email & phishing safety
  • For older adults & teams

Not sure which one you need?

That is a normal place to start. Describe the symptom and I will tell you what I think the work really is. That includes when the answer is that you do not need to hire me.
